The dua in Arabic:

(١) اللهُ أَكْبَرُ
(٢) سُبْحَانَ اللهُ

The invocation in english:

When ascending, recite (1) « Allah is the greatest, »
and when descending, recite (2) « How perfect is Allah. »

The dhikr in phonetics:

Allâhou akbar.
Soubhânallâh.
