Dua n°218

The dua in Arabic:

(١) الحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِيْ بِنِعْمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ
(٢) الحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ

The invocation in english:

Upon receiving good news, say: (1) « All Praise is for Allah by whose favour good works are accomplished. » Upon receiving bad news, say: (2) « All Praise is for Allah in all circumstances. »

The dhikr in phonetics:

Alhamdoulillâhi l-ladhî bi-ni'matihi tatimmou s-sâlihâtou.
Alhamdoulillâhi 'alâ koulli hâlin.

Source : Ibn al-sounni in 'Amal al-Yawm wa al-Laylah (#378) and al-Hakim (1/499) and he authenticated it. Al-Albani authenticated it in Sahih al Jami' (#4640, 4/201).
